Our Strategies For Fighting Counterfeit Inputs
Empowering Farmers with Knowledge and Resources: In addition to supplying quality inputs, ACENSIA is committed to empowering farmers with the knowledge and resources they need to make informed decisions about input selection. Through farmer training programs, extension services, and awareness campaigns, we educate farmers to identify counterfeit inputs and the risks associated with using counterfeit inputs. Promoting awareness and building capacity at the grassroots level, empowers farmers to protect their interests and safeguard the sustainability of agriculture.
Establishing Reporting Mechanisms: Communities can play an important role in the fight against counterfeit inputs when empowered with the knowledge and resources to detect counterfeit products and report them for action. To involve farmers in this effort, we’re collaborating with local communities and the Department of Agriculture to establish reporting mechanisms for counterfeit inputs. These mechanisms include hotlines and community-based agents with whom farmers can report suspected cases of counterfeit products.
